For the small detail of the drivers face that's really good , hand scanning is really tricky , you need to keep the scanner as nearly the same distance from the object as possible , I was scanning people's heads so much bigger but I considered a semicircular frame that could rotate round the person ...

This is one of those really simple ideas , its just mesh for body windows , printed in a 100mm square .

Those look good , nice weathered looking race suits ! What I've found with the scanning I've done is they don't like shiny surfaces or hair can also be problematic.

I really only use my resin printer for miniatures for my daughter and detailed aesthetic parts very rarely .

I've been working on lowering the body down , firstly with the rear shock tower I've lowered the body 10mm at the rear , the front is harder as the servo saver is very tall and it limits how far the front can be lowered so I had a plan :D I decided to make a bonnet bulge above the servo saver :idea:...

Thanks, @Coelacanth . Do the speed controllers you're referring to incorporate variable gearing? I think the only way you can reduce torque (without also reducing speed) is by changing the gearing. The other option is to fit a modern brushless motor and speed controller , they run much cooler and typically with modern Lipo batteries you can drive them for over 30 min but you have to remember to be kind the the old school transmition as well , modern brushless motors can be astonishingly power...
