Looks like this scheme is going to be my colours from now on, Havent seen similar down at the track. Now using a turnigy stock spec esc and w...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
Why not just remove a spring leaf. Although probably not legal in Australia converting it to a goofy leaf would help as well. I initially took out a heap and the only one left I could is the load bearing one. I'd like to keep that to prevent axle wrap. Goofy leaf huh, might investigate! Thanks for ...

Cool vehicle's vintage AE! http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z381/works510/20161106_105930_zps1aou2pnr.jpg Got a new set of wheels on and took it camping over the weekend. Did some minor wheeling but more played around with working the rear leaf springs. Since the swap to alloy tray over the much ...

Abit of a update on this thing, The registration was due recently and a i made the decision to renew it. I was going to just move it on but figured it wasnt worth selling. Plan of attack is to slowly get it roadworthy so I can put it on historic registration. ( for vehicles over 25 years old and 1/1...

Hi RJ, I'm not arguing, I am having a lively discussion. When I make a comment I always back it by fact, from experience or research. Now, simplicity? A factory Holden, Chev computer has to be reprogrammed/modified. I only quickly researched about these computers others will know more. The computer...

Re: I like vintage mag wheels....
BFgoodrich imported from the states is basically the only option for wide small diameter tyres. Great set of wheels and a nice ride height can make ANYTHING look good :D Regarding import / restore stopping, the market was changing. More people got on board, prices of wheels over there went up and it...

Re: I like vintage mag wheels....
Yep I dare say there were various copys of all sorts of wheels. The "vectors" I know as "hurricanes" I think ROH made them... The gold painted rebels look outstanding, to be honest they remind me of old japanese wheels. About 10 years ago, I imported, restored and sold wheels fro...

Those first pair are Rebel wheels?
Great work on the finished product,
I know how much work goes into them, very sore hands!

Cool!
I like the black body with neon stripes,
reminds me of the 1:1 car modifying scene of the 90's

Checking in!
What wheels are they?
Kind of inspired to have a go building a don garlitts replica.
Lack of viability was also a reason why new front engine dragsters look different haha.
Higher seating position.
