OK, last steps and now the car is DONE! Electronics. This step had to wait because I went on the advice of XLR8 and got the GoolRC motor/ESC combo. The problem was that the motor shaft is 5mm thick, so I had to order a new pinion gear with a 5mm bore. But that guy's in now, and meshed perfectly... 2...

Hmmmm. My next build? No idea yet. I'm not sure I have the same motivation for the Ultima. This TO was something I was really jazzed about when I first heard about the re-relase. I didn't get the same tingling in my trousers when I heard about the Ultima.

I just tried a Marwan OT-66 tyre on a re-release Turbo Optima wheel and it fitted well. I didn't use the foam inserts or the inner beadlock band. Yeah, Kyosho shocks are very smooth and relatively leak free. Regarding the clear gaskets, I've found them to be incredibly difficult to install without breaking them.
