Re: Graphite chassis rc10 6 gear
If you do continue to run it, zip tie the motor wires away from the shock. Personally, I'd keep it, and run it. I too have a Slash, for track duty too (not much left stock), and also a few RC10's, and a B5M. I run them all, at the track. Different vehicles, for different things. Good call. It was m...

Re: RC10DS Projects Thread
This looks awesome. The ds fell right in the timeframe that I wasn't paying attention to rc, so I never new it existed until recently!

Re: The great Re-Re-bate
I guess in my mind the only truly original cars you could identify are ones you either bought new yourself, or was still sealed in the box. Who's to say a suspension part from a car made in 1988 wasn't broken and replaced with a new part in 1992? It's not original anymore, but would appear to be... ...

Re: Solid Diff
I had a full scale jeep with a welded diff. Massive, massive under steer anywhere on the street. I imagine driving at speed on a dirt road it would lead to a bit more over steer if I were to have the horsepower to turn the tires, which it did not.

Re: Help identifying some beautiful aluminum wheels
Those will look killer all polished up. Everyone knows aluminum wheels are just for show. Just for show...dog? Your stuff is killer! Love your page Thanks for the compliment. I love the bling but I'd never be crazy enough to run a buggy with some aluminum wheels on it. Right! The guy who I bought m...

Re: Graphite chassis rc10 6 gear
I'm not really sure what to do with her though. I have a Slash (oh the scandal!) for track use, so she will maybe be a shelf queen till I need the space. I did run her up and down the street, I was surprised how quiet the 6 gear is.

Graphite chassis rc10 6 gear
So, I found a local rc10 for sale. No info in the Craigslist add, but the picture seemed interesting so I checked it out. Turned out to be a 6 gear car with long arms, and partial truck conversion, sort of: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/joey48442/04C3D918-5B88-439C-B8A0-51D26973EF39_zpswhsu...

Re: Help identifying some beautiful aluminum wheels
Thanks! The seem pretty light. In sure heavier than plastic but not much. I'll weigh them on my kitchen scale and report back.Nobby Sideways wrote:Blimey, those are gorgeous. I'll bet they are way heavier than the plastic ones though.

Help identifying some beautiful aluminum wheels
Somewhat new to the forum, definitely not new to rc, but I recently picked up a well loved graphite rc10. She cleaned up great. After a complete tear down, and cleaning of course. The parts were dyed black, so I re dyed them, freshened them up. But my main question, it came with beautiful wheels... ...
