I found an older t-maxx controller laying around, can I simply make it work with what I have now? Or would that necessitate swapping out all the electronics?

Any reason to go one type/manufacturer of battery over another? The only semi-local shop to me is a Hobbytown USA, fwiw.

I think they just got a little carried away when the were soldering on the resistors. Which is weird because the lead sharing the tab with the green wire is not soldered at all and just wrapped through the hole in the tab. I believe the power wires are soldered to the proper tabs, correct? How do yo...

It's only going to be used for thrashing around the house, is anything obsolete or can I just get some batteries and a controller and run what I have?
