Re: The 'Holiest' of Holy Grails AGI Jammer Build

One question about flipping the gearbox around to do a mid motor. Isn't a reverse rotator motor needed, or a 0 degree timing motor that can be run reverse polarity for driving forward? I've always flipped the top shaft direction when I do a mid motor to keep motor rotation in the normal direction. ...

Pomona is still just a stones throw from me. Thank you for the memories.

I would love to find a MnM raceway flyer from Corona ~1990.

Re: O rings in out drives - why not springs?

The SG or Tag Coyote had little springs in the diff out drives , possibly others , only disadvantage I can think of is they drop out during servicing and O rings tend to stay in . The springs I seem to find fit in the RC10 3/16 Outdrives only with a tiny bit of force and they bottom out in the driv...

O rings in out drives - why not springs?

I have always run o rings but in my high speed GT2 I installed springs to remove any slop in the bones back in 2017. CVD pins will not hold over 80mph even with super glue red loctite, and a heat shrink boot. The pins leave the bone and cut the rear arms off at the knuckles. So dog bones it’s been. ...

MX ACRES: Pro LT10 SW video

I am looking at one of these to play on clay. Anyone have any advice or comments about one? I’m really far behind. I still run GT2 and T4 stuff.

Is the T6 chassis aluminum? Is it slower then the LT10 SW?

Ruined GT paint - attempt to fix

I received this is body so very long ago when I bought some cars off Craigslist. I can’t remember how long I’ve had this body, at least 10 years. I was tired of looking at it in its state so I decided to paint it. Previous owner attempted to strip paint off and left it pink. So I masked the windows....

I personally love a decent vw beam suspension. You just can’t kill it.

Re: 1/1 Wild One Max

I saw they put double wishbone A-Arms under the front end. It’s similar but now it’s a 2 seater with completely different suspension. I have a 4 seat sand car with a double beam mid travel front end on it. The swinging away and back that the axle does is what makes it take such abuse off road and gi...
