Re: Were there any changes from 7444 to 9824?

This one has the holes but I could see it being more glass fiber reinforced or carbon like. I would guess now looking again that is the “composite” part. I’ll know when I build it. I’m going to use it for the 10b. Thank you!

Were there any changes from 7444 to 9824?

All I have for rear towers for a 10b build is part number 7444. I cannot seem to find any differences to 9824. What’s up with that? https://i.postimg.cc/1R6PKQfX/0-B14-CDA4-BEF8-4-E70-80-AA-B8-A96-FE9-CA35.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/NfHyTSwk/AC491-F35-96-A6-4-CCA-AC73-D95136-CD7022.png https://i.posti...

SC10b body

You have this super rare body. 24-36-24. Wait wrong topic. Let me start over. You’ve held a AE 10b body for a decade. Oh man I don’t like where this one is going either. Would you cut and paint it, keep it on the wall, sell it, or send it to be copied (likely never to return to you)? https://i.posti...

I can only measure the parts I have. I can’t help with changeover timelines.

Re: Building a SC10 from spare and new parts

After a little cleanup, I can tell this chassis used to have a rpm chassis brace and front bumper. I bought the chassis with turnbuckles, front tower, front arms and top plate. And the wrong chassis plate! It came with a T4/B4 chassis plate and wouldn’t accept my gear diff so I had to open one of th...

Re: Building a SC10 from spare and new parts

Found a battery strap pretty local can’t freaking believe it. Slippers arrived, I bought them from a member - but through eBay. Didn’t know until it arrived with his name on it. I sent him a text 🤣 https://i.postimg.cc/gjdgRHXZ/2-CDF69-CE-3916-4-FAC-BFDE-934-F982-A3648.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/KYJhp...

Re: Building a SC10 from spare and new parts

So it looks like I just need slipper hubs and a body. I have the body mounts and wheels/tires. I also have a full hex conversion. I’ll have to decide on wheels and tires and go from there. Re: 60 second wheel repairs

Good tip thank you! For plastic this is the rotary tool I use. Super cheap and works great with all the attachments. https://www.harborfreight.com/power-tools/rotary-oscillating-tools/rotary-tools/07-amp-rotary-tool-kit-80-piece-58999.html …the cheesy rotary tool didn’t have a review so I left one 🤣

Re: The 'Holiest' of Holy Grails AGI Jammer Build

One question about flipping the gearbox around to do a mid motor. Isn't a reverse rotator motor needed, or a 0 degree timing motor that can be run reverse polarity for driving forward? I've always flipped the top shaft direction when I do a mid motor to keep motor rotation in the normal direction. ...
