Was not a big pan car person, but did have an RC10L way back in the day. It appears TA is coming out with a formula racer. Not many details on it yet, but looks cool and chances are I will buy one to be a shelf queen.

Re: I LACK MOTIVATION TO DO ANYTHING AND ENERGY
Set goals for yourself and find some minimally strenuous exercise that you can do a little of each day and keep doing it each day. I am not a healthcare professional, but IMO doing stuff in water will help you. Wade around a pool or lake everyday; water takes the stress off your body while letting y...

Re: 5 employees you meet at a Hobby Shop
I have pretty much only had good experiences at hobby shops throughout the last 3 decades. When I was a kid, a an old sort of gruff, but really helpful guy owned a hobby store in Cockeysville/Hunt Valley Maryland with an indoor RC track in another building. His name was Gary Nixon and he was a well ...

Re: USPS delivery service
International tracking has gotten much better than it was just a decade ago, but is still lacking. Tracking in general can also vary within your locality/town. At least in the USA, you have to consider the "Amazon factor". Tracking my packages got fairly interesting a few years ago when I ...

I had a door-to-door sales lady who said she was from Verizon (it could have been Comcast, I do not remember) stop by my house a couple of months ago. It was all sorts of shady and I think she was a scammer because she came by after dark and only did my house (not my next door neighbor). Fairly cert...

Re: Dhawk and racing
Aluminum is very heavy compared to plastic, and also doesn't bend in a crash. Therefore the car will be heavy, and parts will break. Trust me, I've tried it. I have RPM arms and kept breaking inner hinge blocks, so I went to aluminum, and now it just shears bolts off. You have to leave a few flexib...

Re: The Track in MD
That is really cool! I had no idea it even existed when I grew up in Maryland. I live in PA now, but may have to swing down and check it out. I have not done hardly anything but build and bash over the years and only recently got back into the hobby. The last time I was at a proper track was in the ...

Re: Who else loves the Stadium Blitzer?
Tamiya has had a spotty relationship with ball diffs. It really makes no sense what RC vehicles they have put them in over the years and other ones they have avoided. For some odd reason the TA01 chassis got one, but there was/is still not one for the ORV/Blackfoot gearbox. Thanks to Tamiya having a...

Some of the cheap RCs and clones coming out of China are really good deals these days. I have a shelf queen Tamiya Tumbling Bull. Instead of running it, I bought a $49 + shipping Chinese clone from Gearbest. It was RTR and even came with a battlestar generica lipo. Tossed in some 1150 bearings and l...

Rising Fighter/Grasshopper 2 chassis question
For some inexplicable reason, I have taken a fancy to Grasshoppers recently. I really love the Grasshopper body and would like to mount one on a Rising Fighter that I ordered. Can I swap out the RF/Grasshopper 2 chassis for a Grasshopper/Hornet chassis and still retain the RF suspension? The RF/G2 c...

It was/is a very iconic car. I am sure Tamiya is chomping at the bit for the dust to settle and IP rights secured enough so they can make an RC

Re: Tamiya Grasshopper--Oldest daughter's First Build...
I think the Grasshopper is one of the best looking Tamiya rc cars. It actually resembles a grasshopper and continues the grasshopper theme from the chassis, body, to the final application of decals and presentation. Very nice how the rear end can be converted to Hornet suspension without having to d...

Re: 25 years today DESERT STORM Started HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO
Thank you for your service 8) Reading your post and the nature of this forum brought back my only 2 RC memories from OIF. My buddy once tried to hit me with a Raven (small man launched drone) and I saw some fobbits playing with an RC car so I turned on the truck's Warlock ECW system on a FOB to cras...
