Re: Impulse buy; Axial SCX6
So I brought it work to show off to my coworkers. Plug in the battery and turn on the radio and press the on button and I get nothing. Luckily we have a metric allen wrench set at work and I was able to remove the receiver cover and rebind the radio. not sure how it became unbound in just two runs

Re: Impulse buy; Axial SCX6
Mine seems to run fine and I think the slipper is tight enough. I am going to change out the shock oil like XLR8 did. I have noticed a growling sound coming from the electronics. Don't know if its a servo twitching or a fan screeching like it has a dry bearing. I saw the clear body set this morning ...

Re: Impulse buy; Axial SCX6
Just got mine in today. I can pretty much echo xlr8’s comments. It runs really well for its size. Top gear is plenty fast and low gear will allow it to climb well. I had no problem navigating the three steps into my house. Waiting for a break in the weather to run it out in the wild. https://www.tam...

I saw those wheels this morning. That design just doesn't do it for me. I wish they were an upscaled version of his UDR wheels

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build
is it possible that your top plate is for a 10T? The nose looks much longer than the one I used on my world's build https://th.bing.com/th/id/R.3018ea4343587bec033a8b862cf6aee9?rik=wkeJCbuC99bXbw&riu=http%3a%2f%2fi247.photobucket.com%2falbums%2fgg131%2fshodog1%2fRC+cars%2f053107007.jpg&ehk=E...

One million dollars......RC10talk doesn't provide valuations. best bet is to research ending ebay prices and offer 15% less

Re: Impulse buy; Axial SCX6
I got the email and was blown away on the size but whoa on that price. This clincher for me was seeing one in person at Pegasus Hobbies last weekend. It’s pretty cool so I went ahead and preordered one from Horizon. I wonder if these are held up by the shipping cargo back up in the port of Los Ange...

Re: HPI RS4 4wd help?
The current prices for HPI RS4 stuff isn't too bad so if you search you can still find parts and cars you can use for parts. just don't fall into the trap I have where I've upgraded and spent way too money on rare parts that far exceed the actual value you can get for the entire car on eBay.

Re: HPI RS4 4wd help?
Russ, your RS4 is the sport (1). Kracken’s is an original RS4 which has several differences. The RS4 sport is more closely related to the RS4 Pro (1). Your dual belt design is more efficient than the transmission and one belt. It can also take about any brushed motor setup. I used to run 7 turn moto...

Surprised it was an energizer that did that. Usually it’s the Duracell batteries that go bad and leak
