Re: Anyone Know What This Is?
Love these little buggies as they are supercool. I have one set up as a runner. I used Tamtech radio gear and a custom battery pack. Even though their suspension works fairly well their small size precludes you from running them in too rough of terrain. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodo...

Re: RC10 MIP 4WD help Needed
I’ve experienced the very same thing. Just as jwscab wrote, lowering the front suspension a tad will engage the dog bones more.

I wish MIP made the dog bones a bit longer

Re: My "Left Over Parts" Buggy
Parts like this don't add to the visual "wow factor" but it will make me smile a little more when I look at the car because I will know they're in there. 8) It's amazing how some of these parts cost. I've paid big bucks for a set of titanium hinge pins which no one will ever see. Great jo...

With those Big Willy tires it needs some lift. Do you have to re-arch the juggernaut leafs to get them to fit?

Re: .
That turned out very nice. I guess the bruiser knuckle would be an upgrade because of the beefier design. A set of bruiser leafs would give that truck a nice lifted stance.

Yes it's an original body. The fenders are wider and a have a lip on the edge where the rere body doesn't.

Re: Sand Scorcher
That should clean up nicely. I'd strip and reuse the old body but use rere nose cone and windows. If you plan to run it, get an aluminum chassis

Shodog's MIP 4x buggy
I've finally been able to fulfill a dream to build the venerable MIP 4x buggy. In 2004 I built up a chassis using the MIP 4x400 cable drive 4wd conversion kit. A bunch of period SRB hop ups and a homemade chassis. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/MIP%204x/583EA4B5-5050-4B41-A3AF-B7AD...

Re: Pre real rc car.
The earliest RC I remember having was a Tandy Porsche 928 that went forward and turned in reverse. Then I got a shinsei truck that was front wheel drive and turn right or left at full lock. Then I got a Shinsei Dust Runner Honda ATC 250r. Full digital proportional. I modified it to have a headlight ...

Re: POST ALL ANDY'S PAINT SCEMES
Joey, when I saw that Andy posted pics of your body on Facebook, I didn't see it was a custom job and I rushed over to eBay to see if it was still available. I'm envious of that paint job.

Re: Shodog's TRX-4 crawler
Like CLM said, this truck is a good deal for what you get. When I bought the truck I had an Axial scx10ii kit on the counter comparing the two with the scx being about $90 cheaper. What sold me were the portals, the servo actuated locking diffs and the radio. I'm digging running this truck using a 3...

Re: Shodog's TRX-4 crawler
I've started running a 3 cell lipo in mine and it really wakes up the truck.
