Re: Shodog's MIP 4x buggy
Thanks for the comments. Tonight I was able to get the MRP Baja Bug body roughly trimmed and mounted. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/MIP%204x/763D54B2-A265-4B47-ADF3-BB9AE7BA7E99_zpsugdzuuym.jpg http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/MIP%204x/82850CDA-F0C1-46BD-8A98-E4635...

Re: Just finished RACO Jac-Rabbit
Looks great. Some nice rare hop ups on that buggy. Never knew what happened to josh. He was a nice guy. He sent me some rare Rothmans decals and a couple of cars several years ago. Most likely before ‘06

Re: Shodog's MIP 4x buggy
It looks like you have used a housing adapter on the rear tranny that is similar to MIP part X-7, the housing adapter for front tranny that holds the cable in place. The T200 doesn't have such as adapter and no adapter for the rear tranny is included in the MIP 4x400 kit ( certainly not the one I h...

Re: Shodog's Kyosho Scorpion projects
I made a little bit of progress on my scorpion. I plan to send some bodies to Andy to paint and I wanted to trim out the vintage Mccallister California Gold body before it gets painted. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/Kyosho%20Scorpion/46631A00-DC5C-4329-A266-5D87B00FBCC1_zpsb1lsuka...

Re: Tamiya 58008 Countach restore
Love both of your countach. You did a great job on getting those up and running. I have a runner 58005 that I’ve ran a handful of times. It has the stock aluminum chassis that bounces like crazy. My shelfer has a new CS chassis. I guess I could use my pin router to cut a replica and replace my runne...

Re: Lonestar's New Grail - Carbon and Shiny RC10 :)
With a chassis that nice I’d hold out for some nice Andy’s or RPM Arms instead of going with the stock arms

Re: Shodog’s ’93 Worlds buggy
A mini update for this thread. Switched out the body for a custom painted one from Andy’s. Ditched the Lohan’s wheels in favor of a genuine set of Tecnacraft wheels. Also installed a Tecnacraft aero foil wing. I made real carbon fiber side plates and covered the wing in optical solar reflector tape....

Re: Lonestar's New Grail - Carbon and Shiny RC10 :)
Excellent collection of parts. That’s the fibrelite chassis? Lovin those JPS wheels. You don’t see that style very often. In my case I went blingy aluminum build on my AE Graphite chassis and I hate it. Just seems counterintuitive to hang all those heavy aluminum parts on a lightweight Graphite chas...

I recently scored an Andy’s body and it looks killer atop my Ascot http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%20Ascot%20Sprint%20Car/9BEABD10-1990-4731-8D91-8EFBBB9C10D4_zpsbfhb02se.jpg http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%20Ascot%20Sprint%20Car/51F689C7-AE26-456B-8ABE-C0...

Re: Shodog's TRX-4 crawler
Overall this has been a good truck. I’ve stripped the servo horn last time out but it’s all fixed and ready to go. The salt water at the beach has not been kind to the some of the metal parts but it gives it s nice rusty patina. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/Traxxas%20TRX-4/C089A1...
