NOVA 18-I esc --((NOT novaK))

Post by j-sou »

I pulled this out of of a Monster Beetle I'm going to sell off. I've never seen one, or even heard of the brand for that matter. The MB was all period modified and hadn't been run in forever, so I assume this ESC is of the same era. I spent a lot of time searching around, but can't find any info on this brand.

It's pretty cool looking and small for it's day! I'd like to put it in one of my project cars that needs period electronics. Just hoping to figure out specs on it, and narrow down the time line of production to help determine which car/truck to run it in. Has anyone run one of these? Or have any old paperwork?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!

I remember Nova. They (iirc) were also the first with a modular 2 speed. Made the motor just a little longer.

I don't remember their ads lasting very long
