Temple might be able to give you some more accurate info, but I believe MRP has car roots that go back further than AE. Although I haven't been able to talk to the right persons, I believe that evolved from Jomac/Jerobee, then later sold most of the car parts and molds to Pro-line when they dumped the car biz.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Hi, I'm new here but I'm interested in info on this car too. I have the exact some MRP GP12 kit that I got on ebay a year or two back for about $75.

I also recall that MRP was formed from Jerobee/Jomac. One of the head MRP guys was Gary Kyes now with Losi/Horizon. MRP was Joel Johnson's first R/C sponsor and Gary was his mentor. Joel ran a version of this car, the MRP GP12 at the 1980 ROAR nats in California.

Can you guys give me some advice? Should I build up a kit that I have new in the box or will it decrease the value?
