Re: Carlsson
I think those wheels must be some of the most hard to find parts...
In Scandinavia the 1:12 got the nick name "The confectionery box". The lexan radio tray with the "wells" really resembled such a box. I'll keep my eyes open.

And those off road rubber threaded tyres on foam cores are very very hard to find. I have been looking for a used rear one for years.

Re: Carlsson
Haven't seen your fantastic Carlsson thread before now. Great collection! As a rc enthusiast from Norway, the neighbour of Sweden, I find the "local" Swedish rc production interesting. Late 70's to early 80's there was a substantial rc car production in Sweden from Carlsson, Minicars and S...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Will be interesting to see what this will mean for parts availability.
Is the intention making a car meant for the vintage racing scene, followed by part turnover and additional sales. Or just a run of kits with next to nothing of spares...

Posting up a cool oddball this month, an early eghties Kyosho Toyota Hilux. You could get three versions of this platform, the Sand Skipper, VW Baja Bug and the Toyota Hilux. Special featsures of this platform is the gearbox with centrifugal clutch and pnaumatic tires inflated with a syringe (you c...

Re: Schumacher Shotgun/Storm 1/Nitro 10 Wheel Help!
Hi there,
Here is a Storm wheel. Measures should be sort of ok.
From the back edge of the rim to the bottom of the castle: 12ish mm.
Front to surface of wheel nut: 32,5ish mm.
Good luck!

Re: Early Edinger rebuild
Just thought I would also post up some pictures on the comparison of the ayk/ae tires. Since I have an ayk Sidewinder it would be interesting to consult the well-known relationship between the two. As a predecessor to the RC10, the Sidewinder was going to share it's Good Year shoes with the RC10. Th...

Re: Early Edinger rebuild
A stand still for a while on the rebuild due to other projects. Back on the workbench with this car, a question on the shock cap gasket arose. In my RC10 parts I have different gaskets and old third-party O-rings (e.g. Hot Trick). In general the gaskets/seals orbit +/- round the three rings in the p...
