TINY problem with rebuild

Post by arf »

I'm replacing the bushings on my 6 gear runner with bearings but I don't have the allen wrench to work out those tiny screws in the idler gears. The original manual doesn't indicate the size of the wrench. Anyone know?

Definitely smaller than .050 I've tried those. I can't find the little bastard at my LHS or hardware store. Funny I studied the old manual all day at work (ha, ha) so the rebuild would go smoothly but as they say no battle plan survives contact with the enemy!

I think that the wrench comes with the idler gear set. f you have it apart to replace the bushings, put a fresh set of gears in there too. It will make you feel a little better about spending $5 for an allen key :?

A part number for that set would be most appreciated, Sir.
