Steve's 3d prints

Figured I'd just make one thread and post all my latest 3d prints I do under this thread. Just finished this one up tonight. During my time off from rods between Christmas & New Years I did this latest 3d print for the theater room. Joaquin Phoenix's iconic Joker stair dance. The print was a great print I bought the file for off Cgtrader but it lacked the railing on the stairs like in the movie, so I used some 3/16 brake line and made my own. Also added some "AK Puddles" clear standing water liquid to the stairs in spots to make puddles to mimic the movie scene better.

Cute little Harry Potter as a kid print and I just finished up. Has a neat cartoon'ish look to it.

Good paint work on these! The detail work on the Joker one is really nice. Good call on adding the water effects.

Both printers have been running non-stop for the past week now printing parts for the new model. This one is going to be the kitchen scene with Tim and the raptors from the first Jurassic Park movie. Sooooo many parts to this one. Still have a couple parts printing right now on the machines but almost all done printing now. Think I have around 52 pieces total to this one so going to take a while to get this one painted and together.

Looks daunting  all those parts needing finishing ready to paint .... Have you thought about a resin printer for the smaller detailed parts ?
You've got some skills with the paining :!:

I've thought quite a few times about maybe picking up a resin printer, especially when they run those sales on some of them for around $100'ish. Just haven't pulled the trigger on one yet though. One reason is space, I am pretty packed full in my shop work area. May end up getting one at some point though as it seems like they do a fantastic job on smaller detail parts from what I have seen.

For the stuff your doing a resin printer for hands , face's and other detailed stuff you can just paint without needing to sand and fill , save you a lot of time , even one of the smaller ones would do , thing is all the other crap you need like wash baths , IPA , a UV curing lamp .

Put the new miter saw my Nephew & Brother in law got me for Christmas to good use. After getting done with rod work for the day I spent a few hours building a new display case for my 3d print statues I make that fits under the tv in the theater room.

3d printed Jurassic Park sign I made for above the door/stairs in the theater room. Logo and claws are printed/painted and then affixed to a black painted piece of wood.
