Tuna's rc10 team car build
I have always wanted a rc10 team car, that was close to original. I like the white parts on the black tub, colorful viper body.i have had many team cars but none were original.
here I have a team cat that has seen many changes over the years. It's the closest thing I have to what I want , so this is what I'm working with.

Re: Tuna's rc10 team car build
I managed to find a set of white rear A arms, gear cover and battery tray. I still need to find a white bulkhead and body post , just have to sort thru the madness of parts!
From the looks of it , it must have been a late team car.

Re: Tuna's rc10 team car build
As it sits now. I swapped the rear Arms, bulk head, battery tray and front body post for white ones. I replaced the motor plate because it was cut , and it was for a 6 gear transmission. I have never seen a black motor plate for 6 gear!
I also removed the motor / LRP esc , hoping to get a period correct Novak esc and reedy motor.
Can anyone tell me if this car is supposed to have a triangle shape or square nose plate ? It has the triangle nose plate now , but I have a square one too that's in nicer shape. Part of me thinks it needs the square one, I can't tell in the 25 year Rc10 history pictures.

Got the nose plate swapped out, bumper installed.
robbed the nose plate off the other team car. Might end up stripping it for parts on another project
