RC10T hex wheel conversion?

Post by janaya »

Hello everyone I just wanted to reach out and ask if there are any hex wheel Conversions that have been cooked up. I have tried looking through the threads but keep getting distracted looking and reading through other ones that I have not found anything. Thanks for any leads to threads on it.

You can use the SC10 conversion on the front. JConcepts makes one. For the rear all you have to do is put the hex on (if you've already upgraded to 3/16 axles).

There is currently one fellow offering 1/4" axle hex adapters:

Wait so its that straight forward on the 10T. Ok so just throw on the hex adapters on the rear. Now the front I assume that along with the steering block/hex axle you have to switch out the castor block as well?

How did the castor block thing go? To stay at 30* with late modle blocks run 25* is that right? Can't remember ago posted that

It seems like an addiction to me sometimes. I should find a job in RC then maybe it won't frowned upon to go through rc forum threads.

the older kickup is 30 degrees, the new kickup is 25 degrees. so if you buy 25 degree caster blocks, they will effectively be 30 degree blocks. adjust from there: 20 degree sc10 blocks would be 25 degree on the rc10.

OK, I have the 3/16" axles and some AE hexes for the rear. Can I ask what wheels will fit the rear of the RC10T to give the same offset, will T4 wheels fit or do I need to use another make?

Thanks.
