Vintage Novak repro decals

I'm sure this topic has been touched upon several times on these forums...

I just bought a set of new vintage Novak decals. I should have a total of 4 different types of sheets. One from the Hammer, one from the 410-M5, and two others that have all the pretty colors that Novak used to (but unfortunately does not anymore) use. I would like to make high-res scans of these and have somebody make repro decals.

My current plan is to approach PandaGFX about this, who already make some nice repro sheets. In the event that they would quote too high a price, does anybody on these forums have a UV inkjet printer that they could try this out on?

Still waiting on the sheets to show up, but in the meantime, I figured I'd offer a scan of the vintage Novak decals I presently have, which is a full Hammer sheet, plus some Tempest residuals, and a few others. Also below is a vintage Orion decal sheet. It came in neon yellow, but due to the aging of the periphery, it would not scan the decals themselves in their original color. Both scans may need some photoshopping to get the right color/hue/contrast/etc balance.

The original scans are a larger file and cannot be posted here, so I had to shrink them down. The Novak scan is scaled by 25%, and it shows in the resolution. The Orion scan is scaled by 40%, but the scan was cropped and so I do not know what the correct scaling would be to get back to the true size (the large Orion decal is supposed to be 4.5" long).

Feel free to touch these up as you see fit, or if you want a highe res scan, PM me your email address and I can send you the larger file.

Small update...

USPS tracking last shows the decals leaving one of the sort facilities...10 days ago! This is first class priority mail. Hopefully it is not lost or some lazy bum isn't sitting on the package. Rest assured, if the decals do ever show up, I will scan them.

Original scan sized down to 18% of original size. I really do wish I could more accurately scan the true colors here, because they are quite vibrant. I think the yellowing of the background on the decal sheets kind of screws with everything. If I had photoshop, I might start playing with the color balance, hue, saturation, etc. to try and reconstruct the true colors. Anyway...for posterity...add this to the collection...

You Original Scan was not very good, and image size is too small to do much adjustment in photoshop. Best bet is to re-cutt all the shapes with a vector tool if you want razor shape edges. Did a test for you below hope it helps

Now if only I can get a single soul to respond or help me with my own thread regarding a RC12E it be great. Been waiting for months its depressing. No response in 123 views.... http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=35131

This is about as good as I can get this one without some MAJOR time invested...this took about 1½ hours anyway to colorize. The orange was a real PITA...
This of course, is shrunk to comply with the size rules here, if anyone wants the full size 600 DPI, pm me your email address.
