New Project Works '92

Post by ralphee »

Purchased this from Alex B the other week, was sold as VGC and it really is, a lovely car, with just a few bits i want to do to it to satisfy my own OCD.
Still not 100% ill hang on to it as I'm a 94 nut, but if i can get parts easy enough, i may, just want to start running some of these cars i have now.

Alex i actually put the foams on just for you, because you secretly love them LOL. I don't want to do too much to her, maybe new front arms, Dennis has some new rear shafts, the are just a bit grooved from the outdrives, and a rear bulkhead cap as this one has a tiny couple of splits, I'm guessing due to stress over time, other than that, Alex sold me a winner, its lovely, so id rather spend on a few maintenance spares to run it.

Cheers bud, having some parts land from a source now, so ill be starting the rebuild very soon, not that it needs much, she's a clean ride indeed!
Did bag a lime green and orange molded wing for the job too, so i can fit something pretty lurid, which is key lol.

Todd, TBH bud both of my Yokes will run when i get the time on carpet, and I'm pondering parting with my Optima yet again to buy another 94 purely for off road blast action, summer is coming and i need to run my Kart too, so funds tighten somewhat, i need to ditch one of my hobbies lol, but its so hard.

Ordered a few of these recently for silly money, Mikes Racing Products....anybody heard of them? Not sure if they are vintage, or a current offering? Anyhoo, this one showed up today, waiting on a few more, but they seem to look the part.

Those wings look ace and I desperately need a new wing for the 94. Found nothing on Ebay so looks like I missed the boat.
