Hey guys. I'm looking for a new body for a resto. I picked up a pretty clean Sledgehammer on eBay and all it really needs is a body. I know Tower had them up until about a year or two ago but does anyone know where I can find a repro? Thanks!

But...I have the accessories bag if you round up the lexan

bumpers, roll bar...

TBG does make one, i have one on my sledge. It is really good quality, much better than the origonal actually.

I made a dumb rookie mistake before doing enough research and tried dying my sledgehammer gearbox with hot water, thus warping it. As I'm sure a lot of you know, the part Traxxas 1681 is near impossible to find, and I'd rather not buy an entire...

agreed. black chassis sledge is far more fun then a pede.

go with an esc. msc's are all good and well but id just as soon track down a sort-of-era-correct esc and run that... infact thats exactly what ive done! i even impress myself sometimes...

For those of you who have decided to make a B4-B5 style semi-permanent rear wing, how did you cut the front 3/4 of the body, and how did you mount it?

Also, did you keep using the back 1/4, and how did you mount that?

I have a rear shock tower...

This is what I have currently, also a late model style sing mount. Can't remember what car it'd from, I want to say B4 though. Note the ginormous holes needed to get the body off around the wing mounts.

The body shell, even the wind shield was painted in black color. The previous owner tried...

If you guys have stripped a body and have the hazed windows, try spraying them with a clear coat. In most cases, that will make the windows clear again.
