Re: rc10 "stealth" project
Almost everything I have is like that
If you aren't going to buy black towers, the glass ones dye pretty well just gotta get em hot and leave em in for a while.
I think I have a set of bones and a black battery cup/strap....maybe more if you need some help finding parts. Cheaper than eBay!

Re: rc10 "stealth" project
Sadly I have never got a very good dye job on the servo savers, they will take dye but still seem kind of transparent. .maybe I didn't leave them in long enough, def worth a try
I just did a couple glass chassis a few weeks ago, they took it pretty well. You can kind of see the pattern almost like a kyosho frp chassis.

x2, but as with diet pills "results may vary". Looks like a great runner project. The 6 gear doesn't really get much love but it's a smooth bitch. Sexy shape too.gomachv wrote:Sadly I have never got a very good dye job on the servo savers

Makes me think of Spinal Tap: "it's like, how much more black could it be? And the answer is none. None more black."

Re: rc10 "stealth" project
it sure feels like powdercoat. it is just too beat up to leave it, even for a runner.JK Racing wrote:winger, is that a powdercoated chassis or painted? i have a factory pink powdercoated chassis that was pretty beat up, i am still trying to get the powdercoating off...nothing is working easy :/
