mrlexan rc10t body

Post by GoldRush »

i thought there was a thread somewhere here but im still a newb. i was wondering if he is still doing them or if he has any to sell...i need at least one so i can get a new body painted up before i assault the local club race scene with my 20 year old relic.
do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?

I've not seen MrLexan around for a while, still about just very busy so i've heard. If you can get a RC10T body, his is the one you want. They are seriously good quality.

he's busy these days doing other things.

last time i checked, t2 bodies were easily found and will mount right up. a t3 body will fit by simply removing the 2 body mounts from the rear shock tower and adding a longer post the the trans brace (like a buggy). a t4 body will fit the same way, but i believe you have to use an rpm front body mount to spread the posts apart.

i really like the original 10t body...i have 2 trucks that have their original bodies but one has some cracks in the front wheel arches and body holes that look like they were drilled out with a butcher knife and the other is nice and i want to keep it that way. im looking at a few on ebay but i dont want to spend an arm and a leg and half a kidney for them. i was gonna go with teambluegroove but i hear of the really bad thin spots and thats what the originals had...i heard mrlexans stuff was alot better than original. i really hope he reads this and can help a dude out...i want to do a nice fresh 90's style hot pink and white body for my runner
