Week Long Late Night Obcession

Post by Daryl Lane »

Built this back in 1993 for one of the JG Oval's at Racers Haven Concourse. This fit inside an RC10T with a Roadkill body on it.

Awesome Daryl. Too bad most races don't bother with Concours events anymore. To many people with all white or all yellow bodies cluttered with sponsor decals at every big race. No one has any modeling ability any more.

That kind of stuff is perfect for the Vintage forum at DirtOval.com, too. There are a lot of us old schoolers there who eat this stuff up.

That is to cool dude. Serious business.

Is the roll cage a metal or plastic fabrication?

Thanks I'll have to spend some time cleaning up the chassis and paint another body... Then I can post some pics of the whole thing together on DO.com

The Cage is made out of thin wall aluminum tubing that hobby shops sell.

It was fun to build, most of my friends asked "WHAT ... WHY" they just liked going fast  they didn't get it then either LOL

Great detailing in that cabin. you should put some of that skill into a scale ride like a High Lift or bruiser

Sweet in-depth cockpit! I like the wrap you put on the rollbar to simulate protective foam. Usually, its a detail most forget to do.
