a friend of mine has this motor, does anyone know anything about it? age? wind?

the colour on the label is green.

Hi That is a reedy yokomo based motor with a trintiy or check point modular brush conversion installed.

Given the "Edinger" label, I would say between 1984 and 1986.

You can get a good idea of the wind count, if you just disassemble and start countin'

Picked up this cadillac label reedy modified, but no dot sticker on it. Its a double, but no clue what wind. I know its unlikely, but can anyone tell from the pic?

No rush at all, but that would be great. A pic when its apart incase it looks obviously different and any info you can get would be fantastic!
My calipers go down to 3 decimal places and then halfs. I can measure the resistances too.

Has anyone got any information on this motor?

I got it in a box if parts and just wanted to know what it originally came with and what wind it may be. I tried searching the forum but i couldn't find one like this.

Here is a piece of tape that was on the can. Too ugly and probably not original so it is not being glued back on. Not sure what 63 means?

Can anyone tell me what pinion gear I should use for this (6 gear transmission) buggy and motor. I have a 54 tooth spur gear on it. Also...how many turns is this modified motor. I thionk I heard once that it is a 12 turn?????? Is that correct? I...

I'd stick with the stock motor for now with a 11-12t pinion. Robinson racing makes them from 9-22t in 32 pitch. You can get them at tower if you need them:

OK! guys didn't know what to do with this chassis sooooooo...hows about a Modified body on a DS ???? Got a body commin but would like a lay down front shock system for Her..............

Johnny, yeah I am, an have been for a while. The mod body will fit the glass chassis way better than the DS. However by the time you get a stick battery on that glass chassis you are going to be limited on where you put the receiver, and esc. Id...
