The Tyco's are what I started out with when I was a kid. I had a Tyco Blaster but I really wanted the Tyco Bandit but I never did get one until a couple years ago :D I've since sold them but it was cool to finally own and run them. They were pretty quick too, ran off a 9.6v pack and I think they used a 380 motor and had a Nissan King Cab body. Here are some pics:

I also still have this, Tyco Turbo Outlaw. Almost the same as the bandits but it uses 8 double A batteries in place of the battery pack.

I have parts to change the color scheme, pretty cool little buggy.

i think i got one of them tyco bandits. it got the radio and it works, missing the battery covers. works , i was gonna strip it and add some "real " electronics to it. mine is black and has headers on the sides, and mine has a "wing " on the back, and a rollbar with kc lights. still never figured out what it is.same exact frame as your bandits.

Matthew, that's the Tyco "Eliminator", my friend had one when we were kids. But it was also sold as the "Super Bandit" in other countries.

My brother and I both had bandits as a kid, took I don't know how many back to wal-mart with stipped gears, dad finally gave up we went to the hobby shop and bought a futaba fx-10. I would love to have another bandit for sentimental reasons, they are expensive little suckers now. Nice clean pair you have.
