Yep, FX10 trees.

Anyone know what this hard, orange / brown, super adhesive like goop is on these 10Ls? Is it just super old shoe goo? Better yet, how to remove it? I am thinking this was probably a common product back in the day, but I have no idea what it is.

Only one of those is an RC10L SS...the other is a Bolink Road Pro.

Looks like the glue for foam tires.

Shoe goo or maybe something like a precursor to gorilla glue urethane type adhesive.

Try some acetone in a small, inconspicuous area?

The Twister comm lathe was one of the first comm lathes and the best ever. Also the most expensive.
My Twister machine was misaligned from factory and needed are careful reworking and adjustment.
After that cut hundreds of collectors for my own motors and those of our racing club. BTW using the diamond tip is a must.
I still own that machine and never will let go.

Most other machines don´t come close. Especially the ones with ball bearing support don´t run that true.

I don´t remember exactly but it is quite possible at least the early Trinity machines were made by Twister.
Definitely the Twister machine is not a rebranded Trinity, because Trinity machines were released later than the Twister.

Your machine could be a newer version of a Trinity machine but it is hard to say because their machines changed through the years.

I personally don´t use acetone anymore, because it could damage certain plastic and it is very dangerous to your health.
Usually I try several sorts of alcohol based cleaners and each one works different.
I start with brake cleaner or denatured alcohol. Sometimes isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol) works the best for removing glue.

But I would tear down the car and would work just one the chassis.

Hopefully its not some form of liquid nails! It can be a very time consuming project to remove. I would lean toward trying acetone but be careful! Try a small area to see how the chassis reacts to it. I've seen some chassis outer coatings soften and dissolve if used too much. If you can break off a piece of the glue, then you can try different solvents to see which one reacts without subjecting the chassis to several different chemicals. A real challenge..... You should have a separate thread on your experience.

Anyone know what type of connectors these are? I don't have the mating end.

Looks like a security plug. These were nice.

Man Trinity really did have a poop ton of different stuff they sold for the industry back in the day…. If you could have needed it or wanted it they either made it or packaged it and sold it. I do remember them having a tremendous catalog.

Never did any dirt oval racing, anyone have a guess what the roller is on the left?
