I'm thinking it's a RTR version or something.

Oh man - I only wish. My favourite car of all time. period.

I am thankfull they havent done it though as well, as that freaking DT02 chassis makes me sick......glad they havent polluted the Sand Rover with that foul chassis.! :)

Only thing that chassis would be good for is a "flaming dunny roll run" down the street on new years eve!!

Cheers

I've seen a couple creative folks on TC make that DT-02 chassis look right under the Holiday buggy body. They use arms from the TT-01 (or some other Tamiya car) to shorten the track width and the old school, original wheels. So it ends up looking like the old one with newer technology underneath. Pretty sweet.

Not to go off-topic but I got a Speed Mart catalog in the mail today and it had the Stadium Blitzer in it. I felt like I was 12yo all over again while standing there looking at it. I knew they were going to re-release it but they sure did it silently. They have it erroneously listed as a 4WD model.

The Stadium Blitzer was the first hobby grade electric R/C I ever drove. :)

Not to mention the Bear Hawk, Blitzer Beetle, and Stadium Thunder. You know how Tamiya has to squeeze every last drop out of their platforms.

Don't forget the Futaba FX-T. Not the same chassis but the tranny, tires, suspension arms, and more are borrowed straight from the Blitzer. Speaking of... I've got one burried somewhere in the basement I should dig out.
