Hahaha they are adorable! One of ours has a crazy tongue and loves to give kisses. She can get you from 1/4 mile away like a damn frog 😂

They look peaceful but they're on a hair trigger waiting for their walk

Don’t remember if I ever shared this picture and story.

Working on a job site and these two came running up all excited. One was a handful the other was a calm sweetie. Picture is pretty obvious which is which. The boss was on site for a short while so we hopped in his pickup truck and drove around the area looking for someone looking for their dogs. No luck. We tied them up as we in a busy shopping plaza right next to a very busy road. I didn’t know the boss had called animal control but I turned them away and was just planning on finding the owners on my own time. A couple hours go by and a woman steps outside on her smoke break and hears her dogs barking. Turns out the boyfriend walks the dogs down to her work to see her and they knew how to get there on their own. He was at home and didn’t even know they had gotten free. I was happy to see them get back to their owners safe. I had a couple incidents with dogs getting out and I know that worry.

Over here all dogs have RFID chips by law so if they get lost it's easy to find the owner , unfortunately the price of dogs now is so high that they get stolen :( all owners know the fear of loosing their dog , even if only for 20 min as a pup chasing its first deer , but the look on their face shows as much relief at seeing you as your feeling yourself .

So, my wife sent a sample to a "dog DNA" facility a couple of weeks ago, and we got the results today. Now, we only adopt mutts and nothing near pure breeds, so we shouldn't be too surprised by any results we get.

And we got a fighter on our hands!!!

25% Amer. Pit Bull
20% Rottweiler
18% Siberian Husky
13% German Shepherd
24% Other (Chow Chow and unresolved)

Holy Crap!! Watch out! She should be 75% 80lb dog, super strong, and ready to tear your face off!!

I also have so many pictures like this with my old Boxer Pit mix. They really are what you make them.
