Since the TQ10 came before the RC10 Graphite, wouldn't that make the Graphite the "Bizzaro" car.

It would, but most associated chassis since then tend to have some curves ;)

Yo FT this is not a late graphite….

Decided to focus on bellcranks today, got them designed went to design the nylon nuts for the top and.. went "you imbecile" and pulled some 4-40 nylon shock nuts out lol

Some interesting shots showing the bellcrank shrinkage and the.. erm. trans lol

Seeing all these parts scaled down like this is too cool !

You think photos are cool? You should see them in person! I can't help thinking how cool each piece is as it comes off the printer :)

I have been in a sort of conundrum over this project, namely the the transmission. I don't know any transmission internals that will fit in the space of the transmission case and retain a differential. I have been considering using a series of pinions to emulate the internals of the 6 gear transmission, there would be no real diff but it could have a slipper so it would LOOK like the 6 gear.

I just don't know. I just know it can't really be lots of super custom parts if I want this car to be easily makeable by other people.

This all looks amazing and count me in for getting/printing one of these!

Just a suggestion - use the gears out of the Mini B/Mini T/Mini T 2.0 transmission if they will fit. The dogbones and outdrives might work/fit too. Don't get too caught up in being perfect. The Mini JRX2, as you know, has a few differences including the transmission. Simplify and use existing parts when/where you can...

That was the first thing I tried but it literally doesn't fit in any way that the trans would look even close to original. I even pulled apart my mini t 1.0 and it's diff is even bigger. I measured the stealth and that diff is far too big for that as well.. I need to find a 1/18 diff that is smaller od than the mini b 2.0 by quite a bit...

Thunder Tiger made a 1:18 truck - the ZT2 and ZK2 - I wonder if that would work - that said, I wonder if one could be found!

How bout the 1/16 traxxas vehicles center trans internals ?
They are still current so parts availability wouldn’t be an issue.

Do the 1/16 traxxas vehicles have a differential available for the center trans? If not the pinion setup is probably just as viable.

Ok I see they do have a center diff available, I just ordered a cheap trans from ebay we will see. I am still open to other options as well :)

Also check Amazon for these 1/28 diffs, might be able to make em work with a spur cut to fit against the ring gear.

Converting a bevel drive differential to the other style is a possibility but a bit further than I am trying to go modifying wise. I want to make it as easy as possible to do this for other people if possible.

Well the mini revo center trans is a no go, OD is only 1mm smaller from 20 to 19... still too big. I might look into the micro cars or just make a trans case that doesnt look right... or make a trans without a diff whee :)
