CAT XLS question...on the front suspension there is a pin required to connect the two sides to the main chassis. According to the manual I need a 2 x 40 mm pin that has to be bent. Any ideas where I can find the above mentioned pin? I need it to go...

Hi Mike

A411 is a 40mm pivot pin used on the lower front wishbones of the XLS.

U1246 is a 34mm pivot pin used on the rear hubs of Procat, Bosscat, Topcat etc

Diameter are the same but length is too short

Just curious on the difference of the Cat XL, XLS & Pro Cat.

I can't tell the difference looking at my Cat XL to Pro Cat as i'm sure they aren't 100% standard.

From memory the Cat XLS has chrome wheels, Sway bars & one Way. Not Sure.

It's been a while since I've thought about this but from what I remember we used diodes (or were they caps?) across the positive and negative terminals of the motor with a lead soldered to the can. I believe this was done to minimize any glitching...

Just getting back into 1/10 scale offroad racing. I know I have a learning curve given it's been 26+ yrs. From searching and reading here and elsewhere I think I have learned that I'll be looking for a 2s lipo to run my brushed RC10 in Classic...

Hi,
I want to rebuild and run my old Schumacher CAT from 1986, as left for the last 30 years on a shelf.
This was one of the first kit imported in France, with short wheel base, I later convert it to an XL/XLS hybrid with long chassis, widened front...

FWIW, I don't believe my CAT's were ever the best jumpers. I'd always fiddle with shock oil and springs and never seem to get it perfect.

Anyone know where i can get a shell for the upright shock first cat 2000, the laydown ones are a rubbish fit!

Also does anyone know which of the cats2000's used the purple motor cooling plate rather than the red one
