Do I have a problem ? you bet your --- I do, but I love it. 2 cars, 1 truck on the go, and looking for missing parts to fill gaps in my collection. And I'm already thinking of another build  No more room, large plastic containers are now being used :? ......Do I really need a guest room, ....

I think most of would agree that we have a problem I've added about 35 cars to my collection in the last 7 years, most all of them need something, I just got a new work bench that I can have 3 projects going on at once and I am already looking for more space to put things. I like to hunt for something tinker with it and then get bored. I have been good over the past few months and haven't purchased a car since April...well other than my RC10 rere and have just been sourcing parts to actually finish up some of my projects. I may never actually complete a single car because to me there is always something that could be done but that is also the fun. I can go out to the garage at anytime and pick one up and start working on it.

Your going about this all wrong! You need a "r/c car themed guest room"

Heck, I'd stay there over a resort any day!

I should have that too. "Come...stay awhile! Add to the mess before you leave!"

I swear to God I can have more of a mess with only 2 car projects than some of you guys' entire workspaces/basements.

Boy, does this sound familiar... I don't think I ever really finish a project. It's more fun to tinker a little, run it a little, put it away for a while, work on something else, get it out and tinker again later.

Ugh,
Sucks is an understatement. Sometimes I wish I only stuck to 2 - 3 cars. So far I've been concentrating on getting the cars I currently have display ready. I've spent about a grand this month on bits and pieces and although I'm finally starting to make progress I'm only about halfway through. The annoying bit is that not all parts to finish a project are available at one time so you have like 10 projects on the go at one time.

I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, which I'm beginning to think is a giant loop.....

Help !!!! lol

You only have too many when there's no room to store them indoors, or you can't make your bills.

I've been into RC since I was a little pepper popper, but it really blew up this year. Currently have 18, 12 of them AE (plus an OFNA, two losi trucks, and Axial crawler, an HSP mini touring car and the yellow radio shack thing I upgraded). And I sold three in the last month. lol. Don't know what the next one will be, but I do know I'm not done.

The nice thing is, when you get to a certain point, you tend to have a somewhat focused collection brand-wise, and spares on hand for most stuff. That's why I really like AE, too, with so much compatibility between models. It also becomes kind of self-sustaining when you know where to look, how to buy and how to sell what you don't need; I'll actually be out of pocket very little on my white parts GT build, as I was able to turn a decent profit on leftovers of the parts vehicles by cleaning & reconditioning, and knowing how to list what for sale.

I think my wife is just thankful that the RC addiction is less than my gun hobby (both quantity and dollars).
