For those who are using the Airtronics/Sanwa M8 radio:

Activate the hidden ALB function.

I did it successfully without making mine unrecoverable. Try at your own risk...

Temple, how does it actually affect the braking feel? Does it pulse the brakes, give them a fade feel? I've always wondered about the alb trick since I have an M8 myself, but not too many people report on its actual effect :?

I have no idea, I haven't actually tried it yet. It was cool to "unlock" the feature though. 8)

(I found this.)

(It would be cool to continue it, and show everyone what Team Associated has done with every model.)

RC handbook from the late 1990's, has good info on tires, motors, gearing, suspension, etc. Perfect for the vintage racer.

A hidden gem from Associated's site:

I must be computer illiterate when it comes to finding the back door on the hidden AE stuff.... how do you guys find that stuff.

Tad, aren't you the forum computer geek? Do some searching to see what other little hidden gems you can find.

Hello there!

I found a great huge vintage-homepage in french language.

http://rcmagvintage.com/index.php

Very cool!

Take the google-toolbar to translate language when necessary.

Cheers!

Michael

At http://www.rc10.com:

Go to Support > Manuals and Documents > Instruction sheets for photos of the Dead Pool RC10 photos and photos of the original RC10 that was used on the original box art. Very early Reedy motor information is there too, as scans of old catalogs.

Go to Support > Manuals and Documents > Documents Online/Off Road > 1:10 Electric Buggies to see early RC10 manuals and parts listings of available RC10 parts. Now separated into RC10, B2, 10T, T2 lists.

Go to Support > Tips & Help > Tips for all electric vehicles > Early RC10 vehicles Q&A for tips.

Go to Support > Setup Sheets > Off Road setup sheets, Other and scroll to bottom for a PDF of the RC10 blank setup sheet.

Go to Products > Excel to download the Excel file version containing the entire range of Associated/Factory Team/Reedy/LRP products available. Sort it in a variety of ways. Get high-res photos of parts for print and low-res for web stores, etc.
