I agree on including a sticker... Never enough stickers in the box... I've yet to see a product arrive where I've said, "Wow, that came with too many stickers". :D

True... we just bought Losi kits that already came with them. :P

Weighing in on the recent topics

Decals- I am surprised manufacturers don't give us tons of them. They are so cheap to make and they do add to the sense of value. Schumacher usually does a decent job on this front, but that is probably because they don't really push box art. "The car on the box is somebody's take on it, here's a bunch of stickers, go do your own thing". It seems to me that we now get fewer decals with aftermarket stuff. Motors, ESCs, chargers, suspension bits, all used to come with them. My pit boxes were covered in them. Novak comes to mind as providing a load of decals.

Motor- Nothing is free. You pay for it somewhere. So if the motor isn't one I'd buy, I don't want it included. If it is one I'd buy, then the manufacturer can include it cheaper than retail, so it is a good deal. But I only have "runners". These kits that are intended to be "shelfers", ought have a motor so all of the collectors can get the full shelf experience and get to memorize details like "the green stripe was thinner on the first 73 kit motors", or "the kits sold through a distributor had Mabuchi brush springs". It's all part of the fun.

Bearings- Same as motors. Runner- hell yes I want bearings. Shelfer- whatever makes the collectors happy. I lean towards bushings (bronze colored plastic) to lower the cost for a car that is never going to move anyway. I don't even know why they have transmission internals or shock seals  A lot of high end 1:1 show cars have empty engine blocks because no one is ever going to drive them.

I remember the Junior2/T kits came with bushings, but there were bearings for the trans? I could not believe it when I got bearings for my Blackfoot bitd. It was THE upgrade. It was insane. Popping them out of the tube, swapping them in......CLASSIC!
Hope you're doin' something fun.

The early ones had bearings in the trans. It seems they went to bushings in the later models... for whatever reason.

Maybe expense but probably supply. From what I have read they were having problems getting kits out. Ironically that's what led to creation of Losi.

Anyone else refreshing the 40th Anniversary micro site link 10 times a day for updates? Asking for a friend

Loooks like some minor updates to the instructions page and a downloadable wallpaper.
