Blue/Grey Shocks and an ESC

Hi all

Found these shocks in my parts box, similar colour to Tamiya Sleeved, but pretty certain they’re not due to the caps being 2 piece. Any idea what they are?

And this ESC was under the body of an original Tamiya Top Force I’ve had waiting restoration for years. Any clues?

Does anyone know if another brand of shocks that are blue fit on the RC10?

I've have 2 blue shock bodies (1.02 ) in my Ebay store for sale $6.00 for the two, plus shipping.

If you want these I'll sell them to anyone here for $5.00 plus $2.00 shipping US. Canada $2.50, and most other countries $4.00 or less.

Anybody recall seeing blue Losi shocks on some team cars in the late 80's on JRX cars just wondering if my memory is shot.

Years ago I picked up one blue shock body - somehow, somewhere

on seeing the color schemed posts on this forum, I got inspired to add some blue to my son's buggy -- wel, you know how that goes... -everything blue!

Thank you for some clarification.

I don’t recall the .71 body ever being sold in blue. You could get the slightly longer .89 shocks off the B4 and run the longer shock tower up front.

Cool. I searched high & low for a .71 blue shock refrence...

Did associated ever make a .71 shock in blue anodized. I would like to know so that if they didn't I wont waste my time hunting for them.

you are referring to some thing like their Associated RC 10 Extended World's Front Shock Tower 3MM RACERS EDITION :

I think the upper holes are for .89 shocks and...

I'm going to be re-anodizing a couple sets of Traxxas blue shock bodies and caps for my TRX1 and N Hawk. I'm trying to determine if they should be 'type II' soft anodized or 'type III' hard anodized. Also trying to determine if they'll need to be...

I've done a little reanodizing of RC10 tubs and other small bits with local anodizer. The finish varies a lot based on prep. Just take it to them with no prep kind of a dull. A little fine sanding finishing working up to say 2000 grit its better but...

Older Losi springs, the larger size Tamiya CVA's, and maybe ECX (slightly larger than AE).

Alternatively, you could use a spring collar and different cups, allowing you to use larger springs.

So just wondering if anyone on here has used the Hobbywing 90A V2.1 esc and how they like it?

Stick to the genuine article if you can, the 90 is good but if you can afford it get the 120. I've used both the V2.0 and V2.1 120A ESC's without trouble, and the V3.1 which is amazing.
What´s the main differences between the V3.1 and the older...
