Wow, those Phoenix shocks are very interesting to me! Nobody seems to know anything about the company other than this thread I started about their wheels: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=15049 I've always assumed it was a short lived company that only made aluminum wheels which were only marketed in Japan. Its fascinating to see that they produced shocks as well. Also "Share a new sensation" must have been their motto as its on the wheel packaging as well.

Those universal shafts are telescopic, like on real cars.

Phoenix has been around from the late 1970s (making 12th scale race cars) to mid 1990s (making hop-ups and chassis conversions).

I have a pair of TF2 UJ's from them that are pretty much the worst you'll ever see.
The package got stuck between some others I was holding while going through a bunch of stuff on hooks. I only saw I had bought them when I got home. Pretty stupid as I really dislike them and they costed way too much.

I've seen other parts from them in Japan; I think I even sold some motermounts for the 870C and YZ10 series to some members here

Some serious amount of gold there.

I have a set of Phoenix alloy wheels on my Optima Shelf Queen.

Don't really like them that much but period correct,
