Modern shock shafts for OPTION HOUSE 'GOLD' dampers? Help.

Hi guys.
I want to rebuild some of my Option House gold dampers with new shock shafts. I feel the original shafts are a little short and would be happy to find something a little longer should they be out there. Even if this means adding spacers on the shafts externaly to stop them bottoming out.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have some spare gold shock shafts but I didn't check how long they are.

I'm currently rebuilding a set of Gold shocks for a forum member trade. Tonight I can update this topic with the exact length of the shafts F & R, and maybe some additional info on aftermarket parts. Stay tuned.

Will These shocks fit a ultima? i have the one with the roll cage, metal chassis thing with the top plate, i guess a picture would help lol. bought them figuring for $1.25 i couldnt go wrong lol, i think the last set ended for $151. I guess they are...

Brought back some memories . Will be put into good use on my vintage racers.

I was lucky to find these all from one seller. He contacted me. I missed that weeks rent but it was worth it. ( caught up on rent the next week)

Can anyone confirm what thread is found on the Kyosho Gold shock ends & shafts? I'm guessing it's 3mm but could it possibly be 2.5mm? TIA

These two motors are brand new, I have no idea when or where or how I ended up with them.

I must say that they are the most beautifully made motors I have ever seen, the machined cans are awesome.

I've bought myself some platinum shocks for an optima mid I plan on bringing back from the dead and have refilled them using some 40wt oil. I'm finding that they feel like they are sticking a bit, is the 40wt too thick or is it a common issue with...

What is the visual difference between option house and duratrax gold shocks? Came across a few sets and i'm trying to find the difference. :?

Over the time, you cant expect that the collur is the same.... :)

I mean that Kyosho can't produse chocks with the exact same collur over the year!

Interesting article and first time I hear what chassis JJ was running. I always thought it was a Trinity one, or a JG unitas others claim. D&D... never heard of, and if it's a UK product I really doubt JJ would've had one.

How different are these?
I can see the thread look=s a bit bigger on the AE but it could be only a color difference.

I like MIP stuff, but when it comes to shock shafts, I have found the coating on the MIP's to wear off sooner than others. However, they are usually cheaper. -Jeff
