Due to Inflation I've started Investing in Gold and Silver

Post by limestang »

This is my first time posting an RC10 project from start to finish. I won an auction from Smizmar1 a while back, and finally had enough parts and time to build it. Smizmar1 does really awesome custom anodize work, an I am really fortunate to own two of his works. If you look closely at the chassis you will see a mix of chrome and shiny gold anodizing. There is also the AE logo anodized on the motor mount. I also have installed a gold aluminum stealth transmission from "Golden Years Museum". I may eventually convert more of the plastic parts to aluminum, but for now I think it looks nice.

A set of Tecnacraft wheels would really set this off for sure! Very nice, I like it.

don said he wasnt going to do another polished chassis for a while. Well to be exact, do the polishing work. I've been waiting to see that chassis surface on someone's car. It does look real nice.

I plan on using his services once he's able to again. I'll be sending a polished up car too him so I can get that same effect.

Good catch on the rear arm mounts. Here is an updated photo with the arm mounts corrected, a hand made trans mount, and a few other minor corrections. Thanks everyone for the kind words!!!!
