FERRETTIs VERY special 6010

Post by Synergy »

I have more people to thank for their involvement in this project than I can remember  , almost all the big players (and some of the not so big ones) from this fantastic forum have parts on this car so I won't start mentioning names for the fear of leaving anyone out.

However I do have a special and very big thank you to deliver to Scr8p,

THANK YOU SCR8P

Most of you will immediately recognise this chassis as his awesome work as it's a copy of the chassis Scr8p very kindly painted and then gave away free of charge in a forum competition (what ever happened to that :?: ). When I first saw that chassis scheme I knew some how I would have to build a car with it so here it is.

I threw all the suitable NIP parts I had at this which include but not only, front and rear tires and wheels, trans case, most of the suspension parts, body, wing and lights. Some of the parts that were not new were battery cups and braces, shocks and obviously the oh so nice Kimbro wing mounts :D

I hope I have made a reasonable job of this as that is the very least this chassis deserves. I'm open to suggestions if anyone can give me areas for improvement (I have a driver).

Should I put some RC10talk decals on the white side panels :?:

PS I make no apologies for the size of these photos :D

Thanks for the comments.

If it gets painted at all Shodog there surely can only be one choice :?:

Many thanks :D , I love my collection so it feels wrong to single out a favorite but Scr8ps 6010 and Shodogs CE are on my top shelf.

I might play around with a couple of bodies ra272 but any experimenting will be done on the re release bodies not on this one
