Thanks Joey for the pics. Looks like I am real close. A few shims should fix it. Have you had any issues with them popping out?

Swapped some shim around and things look much better.

Almost ready. Just need a gearing starting point. Will be running a 7.5 motor to start. Any suggestions would be great. :)

ESC and RX is in and all wired up. Only issue I have found is the steering rack turnbuckles rub on the upper links. :/

the turnbuckles or the ball cups rub on each other? If you are following thru with all rpm ball cups I can see them hitting each other. If this is the problem you either need to put a pr of stock ball cups on one of the offending rub spots. Either that or some low profile balls but can't find that thread right off hand with the same issue...

Yeah it is rpm cups. Should be an easy fix.

for Big bores, should it be short or standard towers for the rears?

I ran the short tower, but had to use spacers inside the shocks for droop. I have since changed to the standard tower and love it.

Yeah I am using the lower rear on my car with big bores and had to fit a shed load of spacers to limit droop.....it works ok but I am thinking that I will switch to a standard tower at some stage.

Still undecided on a paint scheme. Drew this up yesterday with an old school feel to it. The yellow/orange will be fluorescent to tie in with my yellow rims. May add in some effects to the blue, or maybe some ghosted flames inside the yellow? Also thinking I may carry the blue from the bottom and wrap around the rear. Any thoughts?
