That was quick, Thanks! I think I'll pick this up I talked the seller down to a pretty decent price. After working on my Royal Ripper for a while, I would love to have another 4wd/s buggy.

Thanks for the reply I tried finding it on the web first but came up with nothing
Yeah a seller hear had it up saying its a vintage one for $100.00 but I don't think this ones for me after looking it up and seeing one they did a re-re from what I can tell and build these kinda cheap with no dampners and an open gearbox.
Unless I am missing something about these and am mistaken yet again.

Wow I use to know some stuff back in the day about rc's take one sabatical for a few years and its almost like I am starting new.

Go for it, the Progress was a good-quality buggy. Far better than the Royal Rip-off (of the Hotshot)!

Other choice might be Kyosho Gallop. Progress and Gallop seemed to be really similar cars, biggest difference seems to be the body and front diff only in Gallop. Progress has a lexan buggy body and Gallop has a Javelin like cage. Darryn has a pic and a little text on his site about these cars: http://www.darrynsretrorc.rtox.com/kyoshomainpage.htm

True, it could possibly be the first Gallop, but not a Gallop MKII because the MKII has 2 front shocks and that big plastic number-plate on the front, which the Craigslist chassis lacks.

Found the red prince an its not that nose piece or any of the current kits on the Lohas site but it sure looks like it. Check out CNA75's thread for the red fox here and see what I mean:http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=20544&hilit=red+prince+frog
