Re: Scored an MRP Pro-110 never assembled, but need help!
Just been wanting to post some pics of my (fairly new to me) MRP Pro-110. After some cleaning up, rebuilding, replacing parts, and reassembling properly, this looks almost like a brand new car. This car is actually complete with the stock MSC and period correct electronics. I tested everything and it works like new! Now I'm just too chicken to drive it. But it does look great on the shelf next to my Pro-110 Stage II. I'm currently putting that one back to stock also (or at least as close as I can get it). Unfortunately, my LHS's vintage race class never took off. Probably for the best...

Re: Scored an MRP Pro-110 never assembled, but need help!
So I got a lot done on my Pro-110 Stage II today and just wanted to share it. I'm not sure if it is better to keep adding to an ancient thread or start a new one. But since this seemed like the most popular Pro-110 thread, I thought it was fitting to just add to it instead of making a whole new thread. Anyway, here is my Stage II. Its just about as original as it can get. The body is a TBG reproduction and works really well. Its not exactly the same, but it works and gives the right impression. The front bumper is a copy of the original as are the front shock towers. I have a clean set of front wheels for it once I locate some better front tires. The ones on it were from a Tamyia Sonic Fighter and are very cracked/dry rotted. The rear motor guard is also home made after the original wore out. This one is a copy of a Jrx-2 motor guard. The steering setup is also a Jrx-2 copy. I may try to make a Stage II replica motor guard one of these days. Everything is in good working order on this car. Like with the Pro-110, I could take it out and drive it right now if I wasn't so chicken about breaking something that I don't have a spare of. I am actually the original owner of this car. I bought it when I was 12-13 for $95.40 and have put many, many miles on it since. I had an MSC on it originally, but eventually wore it out. Now its more or less in retirement. I'm considering painting both MRP cars, but I don't know what color/scheme would work best. I've seen a black one that looks sharp, but I'm kind of partial to red since that was the color I painted it when it was new. I can still remember how exciting this car was back then....
