Re: Sourcing JRX2 wing wire

Any semi stocked hobby shop should have . 078" wire in the section where they have tubing, balsa and plastic modeling stock.

Otherwise you can find music wire in the same diameter at industrial places like McMaster Carr

Re: Sourcing JRX2 wing wire

I recently made a wing wire for my XX. It was pretty easy. Best part is the wire only costs a couple of dollars and is long enough to make several.

Great looking JRX2! Are those RPM rear link mounts?

Works 91 Build

Well I can’t put it off any longer, these parts have been laid about for around ten years, I’ve been so embroiled in RC10s and Losis I kind of lost the love for the project.

Time to get the hammers and chisels out.

Losi XX Kinwald build

Here goes another XX build. This is a new genuine Kinwald Edition XX. I am building it as a shelfer with plenty of tasty upgrades from Trinity, MIP, HG, and Lunsford.

I can't seem to get enough of these XX buggies.

Re: RC10T - Purple Modern Build

Love this build... may I ask what kind of dye/process you did on the skinny front wheels? Looks fantastic! Thanks! I used Rit Dye. Very easy to do. Thanks!! The graphite is nice, when you can find it. But the basic black works well too. I dyed this transmission case with the regular black. It took ...

Re: XXT Bearing Question

Having both XX and XXX trucks, I can confirm that the bearing kits are the same. A full kit will have 18 bearings. That will include the steering. If you need bearings for the Hydro Drive or ball diff, they are the same as front buggy (xx/xxx). Fast Eddy as has the flat thrust bearings found in the ...

This is a long lasting project that has finally come to an end (so far). Hot Trick Hot Shot, with Hot Trick chassis and front end kit, upper and lower rear arms, wheel adaptors and golden steering arms. Parma roll bar and adjustable upper front arms, JG front bumper to go with the Hot Trick red, Tho...

Re: To oil a shelfer?

Apologies if this has been discussed, search didn't warrant much relevant.... what is the consensus on filling shocks for a shelf car? I have a build in mind with vintage unassembled shocks, and I'm thinking to just use a little bit of shock oil during assembly just to lubricate the o-rings, but no...

Re: To oil a shelfer?

If I know I'm not using the car I still use green slime and a few drops necessary to assemble the shocks, but I don't fill them. This way they stay lubricated and if I change my mind it's just a fill and bleed and off we go.
