Pre Ordered mine direct from AE.
Everything went smooth earlier this month with the 40th car.
I wonder if these are going to be numbered as well.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
I am pretty good at painting and doing bodies, but I am new to AE and the RC10 so I bought this one. Came with real netting attached to the roll cage. https://i.ibb.co/xDLtbTT/vvv.webp That looks great! Did it include the painted driver? Hi Doug, it did NOT come with the driver. I plan on painting ...

Re: MRC Thunder King Ads
In 1993/94 I actually saw MRC demo the Thunder King into the "pow" cinder block wall at the iHobbyExpo.
I still can't believe that was over 30 years ago. I was only 15.

Re: MRC Baja King Ads
I love the MRC World Scale items. I always thought they were 1/7 scale as well. I have a really nice Thunder KIng runner and a NIB Thunder King and a NIB Desert Thunder. The previous owner of the Thunder King I have that is NIB came with metal heat treated RC4WD gears. Which was part #Z-G0048 Does a...

Classic / 40th Tires
I remember watching some old school videos in which Jay would race on Tamiya tires in the mid - 80s. What size are on the original/classic/40th? The original AE manual mentions the #53 Super Champ tires which I believe are Frog tires which have been in production for ages. Would Frog rear tires work?

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
A main back in stock for $379.99 on eBay.
I wonder how many of these they made.
They probably have another 75.
I am now revising my estimate to 7k

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Since I am familiar with it, I too am going to use a HW 1060. I got a new one with a Deans connector for $14. I have a bunch of new Futaba S3003s so going to use one of those. I already got the required AE servo arms in black. 18T, 48P pinion secured as well. I looked at one of the Reedy Radon motor...

Re: #6007 RC10 40th Classic Kit
I too heard people commenting on that washer thing.
What is the general consensus and has anyone reached out to AE?
How many washers, x2 or x4?

Re: RC10 40th Anniversary tracking thread
Yes, since Thunder Tiger owns AE, the cars are made by them in Taiwan.
I preorder mine directly on the AE website approx. 2-3 hrs after they posted the 4 min. ad on their YT channel.
Mine came late last week, #1645.
