Re: My JRX2 restore/race build
Getting the runner ready for the Kinwald Classic this weekend. Going up against B2s and XXs so I doubt it'll be all that competitive but it will be fun! Hoping my 88/89 vintage Tekin ESC600 Pro XT holds up, was surprised it even worked lol Love it! What's with the Cap on the motor leads though? sho...

Re: JRX Pro ebay find, runner rebuild
Yeah that’s true! Ha.. Typically the .9 shocks use a 2” spring. 1.5” on .6, 2.5-2.75” on 1.2 rears. I’m almost done with my ProSE build..nice buggy buy the JrxPro is my favorite. This is the first Pro I've owned. Pro SE was the first hobby grade i owned but that was long since sold but been wanting...

Re: Rebuilding my JRX Pro-SE
I think you should be fine with a swivel ball in the inner position. its mostly a position that rotates and doesnt move much fore and aft.

Re: JRX Pro ebay find, runner rebuild
Looking good and not too ugly at all..you’ve seen my jrxt build, right? The only thing that looks off to me is the 2.5” pink front springs..too long unless you cut off 3 coils like the Jammin steering enhancement kit recommends. Thanks! Yeah concours wasn't my intention with this anyway hahha...

Re: JRX Pro ebay find, runner rebuild
She's a runner now. The electronics layout isn't pretty, mostly becuase I have the battery adapter cable and lipo voltage monitor that i use to run on my older electronics. The Futaba ESC is pretty damn nice. need to do some swapping of tires and such before I run it on a track. I found that JC Raci...

Re: JRX Pro ebay find, runner rebuild
Few small updates. I ended up purchasing a ebay lot earlier which includes a full LXT, some XX and XXX parts and chassis and what I hope is a JRX2 chassis as well as a load of parts so excited to see that come in this weekend. I ended up getting my carbon towers from Vintage R/C. I bought all 3 JRX ...

Looks nice! Did you do the chassis yourself or have someone machine it for you?

Friday I finally got my new project in. Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Starting working on assembling the mini LXT. Going to need to rework the front and rear hubs as there isn't enough meat on them to be durable at the ball stud holes. But its coming out pretty good. I have an idea for the rear axles, hopfully the lhs has some of the parts i need. Also seems that the ...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Damn, I guess I'll go with my other option, and just buy some 2mm nylon standoffs and cut them down.

Re: Losi XX4 Modern Racer build
Looking good man! What did you do about bearings with those rear hubs? isn't the 22-4 metric?
ps: if you end up looking to sell any of that older stuff xx4 let me know, looking to use my xx-4 again and could use some stuff. would be nice to put some threaded shock on it.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Sweet, I was about to order some 2-56 nylon nuts to see if they'd work, I guess this answered my question.
