Re: Best looking current factory or aftermarket 4WD body?

 Do you know anyone in Japan who can make some repro's of the Andy's Apache Warrior. If I cut and paint it now it will be hard to repro later. No, I don't know anyone who can make repro as the business. If you make mold yourself and order vacuum forming to the factory, it's possible. Tanaka ha...

Mr. ED wrote:Hi aku, do you know if the tamiya rising storm body is still availble from tamiya?
Looks way better for a YZ10 than the gravel hound I think.
Yes, I believe Rising Storm body is still available. But I don' know which is better for YZ10. I think both are no good.

Re: latest Japanese vintage meeting

Hi Aku, All credit goes to the car navigation system: I just entered the phone nr and it guided me there (in japanese). I have only ran the A&L one time sofar. It seemed to work really well. What was Tanaka-sans result when using this? Last sunday was only a false alarm. Yuka was all ok before ...

Re: Best looking current factory or aftermarket 4WD body?

I think the best solution is using Dahm's RAZER. This body will fit both Optima mid and Super Dog Fighters. http://www.vansinvent.com/rebuild/vansinventrb/html/d150.html This body was designed by Ira Dahm and introduced in late 1980's. Now he is out of business but VAN's INVENT is selling his bodies...

Re: latest Japanese vintage meeting

Aku assured me the A&L can be used, so I may mount it back on for next time (while keeping the stock pro one in the parts case: ready at all times I have read A&L's instructions again. So, Daryl's words might be right. The trailing arms system for Ultima was released in during 1988 - 1989 b...

Re: Radio Race Car 1985 World Championship

I love Vince Ito's illustration too. He had done also DJ of that IFMAR race. I think he is one of the special person of the 80's RC scene except for a-main drivers.

These photos are from Gene Husting's DVDs. So, he has the rights.

Re: Radio Race Car 1985 World Championship

This my Dog Fighter is the clone of Herbert Hanss's concours winner car. His car was the 1st. place of C-main in that race and was one of my most favorite modified Yokomo when I was boy. Herb used be a driver of CRP, and won lots of concourses in 1980s. I love his cars.

This is the original decal for Wonder Dog Fighter. Have you ever seen this? I think it has never listed on ebay.
