I have finally started going through a bunch of old lexan bodies I have been sitting on and I have one I can't identify.
I think it is a for a Losi but I may be wrong. No names or numbers in the lexan.
Hopefully these pictures are good enough to...

let me know if you don`t need the body, I have been after one of those jammin bodies for nearly a year :)
My friend got these like-new shock bodies with some crawler parts in a lot he purchased, and I just wanted to see if they're Losi bodies? I remember the original shocks on my LX-T were a bright shiny black, but these have a rough texture. I don't...
A friend of my dads has this car and i can get it from him for pretty cheap but is it anything worth messing with?
And what the heck is it? Ha ha

Sorry those pics are the only ones I have. My father sent me those on his phone asking if I was interested in buying it. I bet I can get it for like $20 or less. I would love to restore it!
As some of you know, I was given a bag full of goodies and I am in the process of rebuilding an RC10 from the bag for my son. Inside the bag there were 8 motors. With the exception of one that was marked green machine 2 , all of the other ones are...

unless it's pristine with the labels intact, they really have no resale value. best used for entertainment.
I'm really interested to know what entertainment can be derived from stock 540-can motors. I have a few of those myself and they're not...
New to the board, but not new to the vintage scene! Right now i have a RC10T and a black tub rc10gt. Both have various upgrades and parts, some rpm parts, lunsford, mip steering, etc. But recently my uncle has moved away and i remember seeing a old...

I'll have to take you up on that offer soon tsan! Can i get a better picture of the front end of it? My turnbuckles are pretty much all thread and wanted to see if i could source out some factory looking ones
Sure. I'll try and snap some pics of it...
I was able to get these from a parts box at LHS and have no clue where they are from.
-My guess is they are not MIP because the outdrive cup is chrome.
-They are 2 ¾ inches long and use a 4mm locknut at the end.
-They fit perfectly on a nitro 4...

Thanks for the help guys. I am very confident these are the Great Vigor CVDS. I checked their website and found out they are actually 70mm. These CVDSs are for a BV-1, which is a touring car they no longer produce.
I got a few lots of vintage parts and I need help identifying/valuing these parts. Can you help me? What vehicles will these parts work for? If you have any info just pm me.

Ok cool thank you very much. I just looked and I think that's what they are also. That little monster beetle looks neat. I might have to buy one now lol.
Is the A+L steering for the Ultima, Optima, or Optima Mid?
Also, the gear and belt were on an Optima parts car, but what type is and was it really for the Optima?
Thanks!
RG

The belt drive parts are for the ultima also they replace the spur and second gear on the top shaft.
I've never seen these parts beside from the ads in RCCA.
The diff is ultima, not optima or mid: there's no chain or belt pulley on it.
I have this Truck that started life as a buggy and I later converted it to the truck you see here. It is chain driven 4 wheel drive buggy. I bought it years and years ago, Put all the gear away due to other financial obligations and now would like...

Yep, just like Reggie said if they aren't very strong. I tweaked a set on a trx1 and snapped several on my rc10t.

My brother left this box in my garage and told me I can sell it. Problem is, I don't know what it is, and where the rear end went. Other than a lot of dust and some worn looking tires, the chassis doesn't look like it was used.

Weird! Did that combination of pancar front end with small springs and fully damped rear end (no pancar rigid axle) actually work well on the track?

Look at the shaft end of the can. I have a yellow label revolution motor with a 2 etched on the can on the shaft end. I have no way of knowing for sure, but I think it's probably a Revolution II motor. If there is a 2 or a 4, it may be an indicator.
OK guys, I just won this set of 5 sets of new tyres, listed as various, some I reckon I recognise, but will know better once they turn up, meantime any ids are welcome, I know how you like new vintage rubber so...

Second is a Yoke Hotlaps TF8 (870/yz10) -2.0 and a shumacher that I am not familiar with

Pretty sure the reedy is modified - stamped MOD on the shaft side on the case - I am thinking a E-S Sport 2 - 20T fixed timing

Hey all, good info here, glad I stubled onto this forum.

Id say the scale is 1/6th
judging by the wheels its a protech promax underneath ( son used to have one )
I just picked up a gold pan. I'm thinking it's a 1984 rc10 gold pan. It just needs front wheels, tires all 4, front shocks, body and a wing. here are some pics.
they are like 1/18 or 1/20 scale I got this in a lot I wanted to get some info on them if I could they are pretty cool cars specially the little pennzoil oval
with those wheels it looks much closer to the graupner car. And since Graupner usually just imported and rebranded it might actually be the same.
the color of the graupner cars wheels was a dark green though.
I acquired this car with some others as a package deal. Does anyone know what the heck is? I thought it might be a Schumacher, but it has Kyosho tires.
Any thoughts?
Mike

Thanks for all the info guys. I looked under the cover and it has a belt under there. I'm still trying to find that spur gear at a reasonable price.
A guy at my local track has a dirt oval car and he doesnt know what it is, it has a stealth tranny but that is about all we can figure out.

That's the original Pirate 10 that's imported by ofna. In other parts of the world, I believe it's an Impuls. The Pirate 10 evolution series (touring car and off road buggy) came with a blue chassis. The latest version (Pirate 10T) came with red...

You are correct sir! I just went and looked at my old Eliminator chassis. It has large cutouts on the side there just behind the front axle mounts. Good call.
Hey all, been offered this..... got Picco all over it, but assuming that's for the motor, and not the car.... can anyone identify the chassis? 2wd, 2-speed, 1:8-style quick-change rear hubs.....
All info appreciated....
