Legend! Thank you! I should be able to work with that.

1/64 Scale Custom Tamiya Lunchbox

I built this tiny Tamiya Lunchbox tribute out of a Hot Wheels Super Van recently. Thought I'd share some pics just for fun.

Re: Tamiya King Cab Decal Sheet?

Hello again, I'm trying to build a 1/64 scale tamiya king cab tribute but cant find any scans of a decal sheet. Does anyone have a high quality (ish) scan? Not sure if they can scale these. I think they have a "build your own" sheet option. Might be worth a look. Anyway, fwiw. https://mci...

Re: My second blackfoot project

Is there a chrome type paint you can use? Yes there are some chrome paint out there that looks good but you cannot touch it or clear coat. Once you do it gets tarnished. Great for shelf queen models tho A purple chrome body with chrome accented TBG decals would be so over the top but also completel...

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?

? sounds like you need to shorten up to the 1mm gap mentioned above by RJ with the idle screw. You have a picture of inside the carb at idle? . Todd For one, I had the brakes adjusted wrong, so that definitely factored into it. I'll try shortening the idle gap, and too rich is definitely better tha...

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?

Yes, yes it will. Got it fired off for the first time. It ran horrible, but it moved. Accelerated, braked, steered. Got up to temp and seemed fine. The previous owner tells me it's the first time this car has moved in 17-20 years. It's kind of incredible to me, after seeing what condition it was in ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

These super cool gold autographics team crp decals! I'd been watching these on ebay for quite a while but got an offer I couldn't refuse. They're actually metallic which is awesome!

Yes, the new con rod is a perfect fit. The crank didnt seem to have any damage from the old rod so I'm not too worried about it.

Re: The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?

Wind the big silver needle all the way down till it's just snug, then back it off 2.5 turns The needle that the throttle arm is attached to set that flush. Set the idle speed screw so there is about 1mm gap in the carb. _______________________________________________________________________________...

The OS CZZ is back together, but will it run?

Finally got my OS Max CZZ back together today. New rod from Hong Kong, new piston pin from Dubai. New OS 8 glow plug, Fasteddy bearings and new gaskets. The carb got all new seals too, and everything was cleaned thoroughly. Screenshot_20240402-135943_Gallery.jpg Then one idiot slammed it all back t...

Factory Works Steering on a GT? Help

I just got my RC10GT partially reassembled, and discovered that the steering is worse than useless. I want to get a Factory Works ball bearing steering kit for it, but am utterly lost as to what these 3 drag link options are. Is there any difference? Which one do I need for my GT?

Dahm's D080 Buggsy Body

Figured I'd show this off since I've not seen too many others. It came on my RC10GT (soon to be running?) And was painted a disgusting shade of neon yellow. Stripped it down with isopropyl alcohol, and I'm not really sure what to do with it now. Screenshot_20240326-112756_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_2024...
