Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

Good call using the peel-n-stick underlayment in lieu of felt paper. Since you mentioned it, adding a short wall from the post seems like a beneficial idea.

Big thanks to TRX-1-3 for pointing me to this #1988 gear cover.

And while searching for a R203GF receiver, stumbled across a "buy one, get one half off with a free 3PRKA transmitter" deal.

It certainly did not. Wonder why the 14x2 was left out of that advertisement.

My workshop now has a skylight! Glad to see a good amount of the nasty go away. :D The worst rafters are yet to come, and I haven't looked at any of them beyond where the back wall is. Fingers crossed on that section. Now that I have gotten deep into it, I am 100% confident that without the header ...

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)

Added a bunch more Trinity motors. Very nice. While I was just now scrolling through, I stopped at the Kyosho motors and happened to notice one of the Kyosho Mega motors missing from the list, the 14x2 Dirt Oval. See specs in the snip below. gkatz wrote: Mon May 27, 2024 4:31 am what was the price when it launched (the rere)?
Price of the CAT XLS was $309. Just did a quick search and hot damn folks have them for sale at ridiculous prices. I picked one up at the local HobbyTown when they were still available for $309.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - May 2024 ** - Winner - morrisey0

For the first time I was very close to and wanted to vote for a nitro vehicle, but I had to go with the model that has a soft spot in my heart. Neither are close to morrisey0's Viper EX-10 sweetness at the moment.
